About Me
Jing Williams is P
rofessor of S
ocial Studies Education at the University of South Dakota and Visiting Professor (2024) at the Seoul National University of Education. She teaches elementary and secondary social studies methods courses. She was the President (2018-2020) of the International Assembly of the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS). Dr. Williams' research focuses on a global perspective and the difficult history in social studies education. She is the lead author of two NCSS books:
